HungerSync Foundations

HungerSync is a fictional Atlanta-based venture that predicts flight-disruption-driven food demand and gets safe, available food to stranded passengers at the gate. It exists to ground the cert work in a believable, self-consistent business.

The substrate is split into three layers, each with its own page:

  • Open World — premise, setting, cast, business model, the four-layer platform, systems, delivery, edge, data and privacy. Vendor-neutral. The canonical source of truth.
  • C4 Architecture — software-architecture view in C4 notation. System Context, Container, and Component (Resolution & Dispatch Agent). Tightly paired with the world bible.
  • Business Architecture — the business view of the same world: Business Model Canvas, value streams, capability map, customer journey, SWOT, roadmap. Used as case-study exhibits.
  • Case Studies — the curriculum: case catalog, coverage matrices, and the world-integrity check that keeps the whole thing honest.

The world layer is strictly neutral — no vendor, cloud, or service names. Concrete technology lives only in playthrough overlays (the “Implementation on <provider>” sections of lab builds). If a service name appears outside an overlay, it’s a bug.
